Located on the outskirts of Dundee, just 3.5 miles from the city centre, we are easily accessible from both Perth and Dundee. Follow the signs for Coupar Angus (A923) off the Kingsway West (A90). After you pass the entrance to Camperdown Park go straight on and take a right following the signposts for Birkhill Cemetery and Templeton Woods. Go straight on (watch out for the red squirrels) and at the foot of the hill turn right and you will see Templeton Christmas Tree Farm up ahead. Yes, we have two tarmac car parks with 100 marked bays at the farm. The car parks can be very busy especially over the weekends of 12th/13th and 19th/20th December. If you want to come when it is a bit quieter, midweek or earlier in the day is best.
What payment methods do you take?
We accept all debit and credit cards except Amex and Diners or we can take cash payments.
Can I book a table in the Pine Cone Cafe?
Sorry, we do not take bookings for the cafe. You should see if a table is available and then place an order for food and drinks at the till. The cafe is exceptionally busy at this time of year and I am afraid that due to demand we are not always able to cater to everyone visiting the farm. We have however introduced a takeaway service and also have a pre-made 'to go' selection.
Can I book afternoon tea in the Pine Cone Cafe in December?
Afternoon tea has become very popular but during December, because of the number of people visiting the farm at this time of year, we will not take any bookings for afternoon tea after 18th November. We will however be able to take bookings from when we reopen after Christmas and on into 2021.
